Anubis Ritual Incense

This potent incense blend was birthed during a class offering Catamara of Rosarium Blends taught on the creation of ritual incense at the Green Man Store in North Hollywood January 2020. The results of the incense were amazing and appealed to the Egyptian God Anubis as a worthy offering and such the energy raised upon its charge was a site to behold.

Upon return from their trip the New Moon was in ingress and Catamara added additional amounts of a few of the ingredients, charged it under the New Moon as an offering to Anubis, where it was consecrated and cured for one full lunation. Subsequent batches have been made since under similar auspices, the New Moon in Capricorn, being the first new moon in the solar year, deeming it the sacred moon and time for this charms creation. While we mark each batch’s birth during this moon we also elect to make this ritual incense charm at sunset as the sun descends into the underworld.

Anubis is said to be linked with Mirzam, a star within the constellation Sirius, Beta Canis Majoris is a star in the southern constellation of Canis Major, the “Great Dog, which is most visible in the Northern Hemisphere evening skies in late winter.  In part another reason we elected its creation and consecration on this particular moon.

A new batch was made under the auspices of the New Moon in Capricorn January, 11th, 2024. 

When possible work with Anubis during the New Moon. Give offerings of beer, wheat, figs, earth almonds, grapes and bread that does not sour.
