St. Cyprian’s Black Book Ink

For two full years, a vessel of black walnut lay open to the wild workings of heaven and earth. Exposed to rain, ice, and snow; to every sunrise and sunset; to every turning of the stars and every watchful passage of the Moon reflected in its inky mirror. Snowmelt, hail, thunderstorm, and rain, each drop that fell from above was received into its dark body, each bearing its own celestial imprint, each whispering a message from the firmament into the waiting vessel below.

Shortly after the Moon ingressed into Aries, on Saturn’s Day, April 18, 2026, the black water was drawn to flame and boiled down to its deepest essence. Into this midnight concoction, black tobacco, black myrrh resin, black frankincense, and black olibanum was given, substances of smoke, shadow, and sacred offering. A fragment of human rib bone was crushed and committed to the boiling blackness, joined by a single drop of Alchemical Oil of Antimony, offered in solemn honor to the fallen watchers, those ancient spirits and masters who kept, guarded, and imparted these noble arts. Thus was born a magical ink of shadow and starfire: a black sacrament steeped in weather, time, celestial motion, sacrifice, and remembrance.
