Background: This potent incense blend was first created after a 2 year research project specifically regarding the incense formularies found in the The Picatrix (or Ghāyat al-Ḥakīm, ‘The Goal of the Wise’ or ‘The Aim of the Sage’), a thousand-year old Arabic grimoire that combines over 220 magical texts, and unearthing some discrepancies in the formularies in its various translations. During this project Catamara confirmed and validated the ingredients and recreated a few of the formula’s during auspicious elections that were occurring at that time of the research project.

The culmination of this work in 2014 resulted in the creation of 2 Venus incenses and 2 Jupiter incense talismans. As well an article about this research was written, which can be found in Clavis Journal V4, the Green Key Edition. This book is also available for purchase in our bookstore.
